MCP: write your scripts with an AI
If you write your scripts with a coding assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot...), connect it to our MCP server rather than having it read this documentation. It asks for one function and gets its exact signature, how many values it returns, its family, its examples, and whether it is in the published bot build yet. It is this same reference, always up to date.
The server only reads this documentation: it touches neither your bot nor your account.
Connecting it
The address is https://keplerbot.net/mcp, over HTTP, no account and no key.
In Claude Code, one command is enough: claude mcp add --transport http kepler https://keplerbot.net/mcp.
In Cursor, add it to your project's .cursor/mcp.json file:
{
"mcpServers": {
"kepler": { "url": "https://keplerbot.net/mcp" }
}
}
In VS Code with Copilot, to the .vscode/mcp.json file:
{
"servers": {
"kepler": { "type": "http", "url": "https://keplerbot.net/mcp" }
}
}
In the Claude app, add a custom connector with the same address. Other assistants take it too, in their MCP settings.
What it can do
search_functionssearches by name or by description.get_functionreturns one function in detail.list_categorylists the functions of a family, or the families themselves.
Answers are in English by default; the assistant can ask for "language": "fr" to get French.
What to ask it
Nothing special: describe the script you want, as you would to a developer. For example "write a Kepler script that sends me a Discord message when a hostile fleet targets one of my moons". The assistant looks up the functions it needs on its own, then writes the script with their real signatures.
Read it over before you run it anyway: it knows the functions, not your account.
